Insurance Response
Insurers require an environmental Policy response as a consequence of a loss. The loss can be due to sudden spills, leaks, or ongoing contamination which results in the investigation of soil and groundwater contamination on public or private property. Examples include:
Fuel oil spills and releases.
Gasoline station contamination.
Fire losses where releases of petroleum, liquids and metals are an issue.
Truck and tanker rollovers.
Manufacturing and industrial site process impacts.
Commercial activity such as dry cleaning that has resulted in subsurface contamination.
Shaver EGI has over three decades of experience in immediate spill response in order to mitigate contamination migration to water bodies and subsurface receptors. This results in the reduction of the scope of the resulting project and reduces overall costs.
Shaver EGI is uniquely positioned for project recovery. This includes transferring carriage of the file to Shaver EGI from the current environmental consultant when recalcitrant issues, methodologies, approach or unanticipated cost issues do not allow for resolution and file closure.
